This is the most basic raita which goes well with biryani/pulao.
- Chopped onion-1/2 cup
- Chopped tomato-1/2 cup
- Chopped cucumber-1/2 cup
- Chopped carrots-1/2 cup
- Chopped coriander leaves-1tbsp
- Thick curds(yoghurt)-2 cups
- Salt to taste
- Mix together all the above ingredients in a large bowl and chill.
- Prepare about 1/2 an hour before serving.
